My first novel, Charlie, is about a teenage girl who runs away from her overbearing mother into the arms of an immortal monster. Charlie learns quickly about life as a vampire in 1970s Flagstaff, Arizona.
Charlie is a dramatic horror story about mental illness, abuse, love, independence, and the nature of immortality. It features two main characters, Charlie, and Caroline, and is a love story of sorts, though probably not what you’re picturing. This is the first in a series of at least four novels.
