Fucking Ten Club.

So Sandra and I have been in the Pearl Jam Ten Club for like, years.

Eddie Vedder is doing a small solo tour (seven shows) mostly in California, but with one show in Vancouver. It’s the "April Fools Tour" which is weird. There are rumors abounding that there’s more to it than just Ed solo shows.

Either way, Sandra and I were desperate for tickets.

The process for getting Ten Club tickets (the "presale" tickets, exclusive for Ten Club members) is completely jacked up to begin with… and then today, the whole site crashed as people were trying to get their tickets.

I had tickets in my cart. I was on the third (and final) stage of checking out. I put in my Master Card info and clicked "next" and the fucking site crashed again and I lost my tickets. I went back and my cart was empty. And the tickets were sold out.

Fuck my ass.

I was so fucking pissed. On the message board, people were losing their minds. Some people got tickets, most people got the same thing I had. The site crashing while they were checking out. Some people made it to the final stage like me, then the site crashed but then got the conformation email. I got no conformation email, and my profile didn’t list any purchases.

The site was down for like, a half hour. Of course, I’m pathetically clicking the link over and over and over again, trying to get it to load, hoping that somehow more tickets might magically appear.

But I kept getting that sever overload error.

It was fucking way gay.

So I gave up. I went out side for a smoke, called Sandra on my cell phone so we could bitch at each other about how mad we were and "FUCK THE TEN CLUB! WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE PAYING THEM FOR?!" and such.

So then I went inside, tried (more just for the sake of it) clicking the link again. Nothing. Tried again and everything suddenly popped back up. The site came back. I quickly went to the "Buy Vancouver tickets" link and it said there were tickets available. I put them in my cart, checked out and BAM!
