There are two movies out that I want to see, both from directors that I used to like but now I hate. Clerks 2 and Lady in the Water.

Clerks I want to see, because like, even though I hate Kevin Smith and think he’s an incredibly average film maker, I do find a lot of his stuff funny. So I go see his movies. Unless they have J-Lo in them.

Lady in the Water I want to see because I keep wanting to give M. Night another chance to redeem himself. Unbreakable is in my top five favorite movies of all time, easy. The Sixth Sense rocked extra hard. But I hated Signs and The Village so much that like, it makes my brain hurt to think about them. Especially Signs. And M. Night has acted like such a douche bag over the last five years or so that it’s hard to distinguish his off screen doucheness from the movies themselves. I can try though.

Either way, I can’t see either movie because we blew WAY too much money on our Pearl Jam trip. I tried to get Sandra to go see Clerks 2 with me to one of the massive theaters in the various towns we stopped in, but she wasn’t having it. I thought I might be able to sneak a movie under the rader in the midst of all of our money blowing, but my plan did not work. So now that we’re home and back in reality, I’m movieless.

Plus, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby opens next weekend, and I gotta go see that.

Oh well. Fuck my goat ass.
