Like, it’s good that Aykroyd is working and all… but man.
I know, I know, it’s a kids movie and apparently we should treat kids like they’re idiots, but still.
And that guy playing Ranger Smith… I had to look him up to verify, but I could tell just by looking at him that he was Canadian. There’s just a certain look that a lot of Canadian dudes have that kind of creeps me out. I have a hard time pinpointing it, but I can usually recognize it when I see it.
It’s something reptilian in the eyes and maybe something with the teeth? I don’t understand it but it makes me uncomfortable.

Canadian dudes tend to either have that look going on or some kind of weird squishy looking, almost not quite finished baking look that James Cameron, Dave Thomas and Wayne Gretzky have. Almost like they’re wearing latex masks over alien faces like in the original V. Damned Canadians, with their beady little eyes and flapping heads so full of lies.
Dan Aykroyd, btw, has both the squishy face and the lizard eyes look going on. That’s why it’s so believable in The Twilight Zone movie when he rips off his face and he’s got that crazy goblin head thing going on.
