I lost a fuck ton of stuff in a harddrive crash a few years ago. A pile of screenplays, pretty much ALL of my Billiam stuff. Years and years worth of photos from our digital camera. Pictures of Christmases, Disneyland trips, various vacations and just general every pictures and stuff. Pictures of my degus. Plus just years and years worth of computer shit. All gone.

I found that harddrive and on a goof decided to plug it into my external harddrive casing. AND IT BOOTED UP.

I got it all back. The screenplays were the big ones. That was really exciting. The photos were great. All the Billiam stuff.

I’m very happy. I don’t know why having all this old shit makes me happy. I mean, it’s not like there’s really anything I can do with it. But it does. And the screenplays are really awesome to have back. And the digital camera pictures.

It’s weird though, browsing through all of this old shit. It’s all sorted by date and I’m just going through thousands and thousands of pictures that I’ve saved over the years. Just random shit and stuff that was relevant to me at one point and just weird shit, and then all of a sudden there’s a block of like, forty pictures of the world trade center with smoke billowing out of it.

Which also kind of gives me a time frame too.
